How we test & rate
We test and rate every golf product we write about
Clubs, balls, tech, shoes, apparel, accessories — if a golfer would spend money on it, it goes in the bag and gets played before it gets a score.

We get it on course
Nothing gets written from a spec sheet. Every club, ball, shoe, glove, bag, launch monitor, rangefinder, trolley and shirt gets played — usually four or more rounds plus range sessions.

Same conditions, every time
We test in the wind, the wet and the heat, off tight lies and fluffy rough, and we hand gear to homies across handicaps so it isn't just one swing's opinion.

Numbers and feel together
Launch monitor data for speed, spin and dispersion — then the part numbers miss: sound, turf interaction, comfort after 18, how it holds up in the bag.

We score it, then say why
A number out of 10 backed by what won us over and what's worth knowing before you buy. Nothing is a paid placement and nothing gets a score it didn't earn.
