Headwear · 4 rounds in my bag

The short version
I did not expect much from the Bogey Boys 5-Panel, then it sits on my head without gripping it, and the sweatband actually does its job. A full day in the sun and it never once needed adjusting. The catch: light colours pick up sweat marks that do not fully wash out.
How it played
No lab and no press-release numbers here: 4 rounds, real turf, real nerves. What I keep coming back to is that it sits on my head without gripping it, and the sweatband actually does its job. Where it bit me: light colours pick up sweat marks that do not fully wash out — worth knowing before you spend the money.
How it looks
Clean crown, no oversized logo shouting from the front. I care less about that than how it feels, but it does not hurt.
What won me over
- the brim shape survives a wash
- it is understated enough to wear anywhere
- the sweatband handles a hot round
Good to know before you buy
- sweat marks show on light colours
- the sizing runs slightly large
My verdict
7.6/10 from me. If you play in the sun and want to look normal doing it, the Bogey Boys 5-Panel earns its spot in the bag. If sweat marks show on light colours is a dealbreaker for you, keep looking.
