Glove · 7 rounds in my bag

The short version
I did not expect much from the Callaway Tour Authentic, then the fit is second-skin and I stopped regripping between shots. It kept its grip through a humid morning where my last glove turned to paper. The catch: it wears through at the heel pad faster than a cheaper glove would.
How it played
No lab and no press-release numbers here: 7 rounds, real turf, real nerves. What I keep coming back to is that the fit is second-skin and I stopped regripping between shots. Where it bit me: it wears through at the heel pad faster than a cheaper glove would — worth knowing before you spend the money.
How it looks
Simple and clean, with no loud branding across the back. I care less about that than how it feels, but it does not hurt.
What won me over
- the closure does not loosen mid-round
- feel through the handle is excellent
- the fit is like a second skin
Good to know before you buy
- it is expensive per round
- the sizing falls between sizes for me
My verdict
8.8/10 from me. If you hate that mid-round moment when the club moves in your hands, the Callaway Tour Authentic earns its spot in the bag. If it is expensive per round is a dealbreaker for you, keep looking.
