The short version

I did not expect much from the G/FORE MG4X2, then I forgot about my feet for 18 holes, which is the highest praise a golf shoe gets. I walked 36 in a day and had no hot spots, wet grass and all. The catch: the traction gives up on steep wet slopes before the rest of the shoe does.

No lab and no press-release numbers here: 14 rounds, real turf, real nerves. What I keep coming back to is that I forgot about my feet for 18 holes, which is the highest praise a golf shoe gets. How it looks

Clean enough to wear to lunch afterwards without anyone noticing. I care less about that than how it feels, but it does not hurt.
