The short version

Pulled the Maxfli Tour X out on the first tee and it feels soft off the putter without going mushy off the driver, and that is the whole trick. It held its line into a strong wind better than the ball I had played all year. The catch: the cover picks up scuffs from wedge shots faster than I expected.

I gave it 14 rounds before writing a word, including two in proper wind. How it looks

Clean cover, sensible alignment print, no gimmicks. I care less about that than how it feels, but it does not hurt.
