Peter Millar Solid Perf Review
Polo · 14 rounds in my bag

7.5/ 10
The short version
I did not expect much from the Peter Millar Solid Perf, then the fabric moves with the swing instead of pulling across my back. It came out of the bag after a hot round without that stale-shirt smell. The catch: it wrinkles in the car if you leave it folded.
How it played
No lab and no press-release numbers here: 14 rounds, real turf, real nerves. What I keep coming back to is that the fabric moves with the swing instead of pulling across my back. Where it bit me: it wrinkles in the car if you leave it folded — worth knowing before you spend the money.
How it looks
Cut like a normal shirt rather than a billboard. I care less about that than how it feels, but it does not hurt.
What won me over
- the collar keeps its shape after washing
- it does not hold odour
- it stays cool through a hot round
Good to know before you buy
- it creases easily in a bag
- the colours are conservative
My verdict
7.5/10 from me. If you want to look tidy without playing in a sauna, the Peter Millar Solid Perf earns its spot in the bag. If it creases easily in a bag is a dealbreaker for you, keep looking.
